Chapter 13

Reggie woke up to muscles she never knew she had screaming at her. She snorted back a laugh. Not too long ago, she’d considered herself to be very sexually experienced, bordering on a ho with her sexual liberties, but never had she woken feeling absolutely boneless with satisfaction.

The coils of her mates still were looped loosely around her, the rest of their lengths trailing over and under the pillows. Shaagra’s hearts beat under her ear in a steady one-two rhythm, his breath quiet with slumber. Vadal was curled around her back, his warm breath gently fanning her exposed skin.

She smiled to herself. Fantastic sex aside, she couldn’t remember ever feeling so loved and desired. No one was impatiently setting her aside or treating her like a one-time hook-up or a brainless blonde.

She had two guys who didn’t hesitate to remind her how much she meant to them.

Sweet Shaagra’s dominance had been a bit of a surprise. After working so long to get him accustomed to her touch, she hadn’t expected him to take charge the way he did for their mating. Reggie felt her body flushing with the memory. A coil around her legs shifted slightly and she heard Shaagra groan as if sensing her thoughts. More like catching the scent of her arousal.

Reggie shook her head. She wasn’t in any shape for another round, not after mating off and on throughout the night. She couldn’t believe the stamina these Vori had. The would rest for an hour or so, with her nestled in their coils, before tightening around her again, their bodies raging with need. Must’ve been a mating night for the books, Reggie thought with a chuckle. She was pretty sure if she tried again right now, her coochie would fall off in protest.

She smiled when her mate’s ruby eyes opened, softening immediately at the sight of her. No matter how fierce he looked with the side of his face and lower torso scarred so terribly, he never looked at her with anything other than love and complete awe. The latter she was still trying to figure out.

“Good morning,” she mumbled, her body still unconvinced that it was time to rise.

Shaagra shivered and proceeded to stretch every muscle in his very, very long body, all the way down to the tip of his tail, which coiled into a tiny knot with pleasure. He grinned at her as if debating whether he wanted to kiss her or eat her. Not that he didn’t do plenty of both already. He leaned forward and plundered her mouth with an intense kiss that sent her senses reeling.

Just as she regained her equilibrium, Reggie felt the pillows behind her shift and peered back at Vadal blinking down at her groggily, an infatuated smile pulling at his perfect lips. She leaned forward and pressed her lips against his too, her tongue slipping into his mouth drawing his forth in a slow dance of caresses.

Releasing his mouth, she lay back and groaned. “We should probably get up,” she proclaimed reluctantly.
